Richard Meek, a true entrepreneur, started selling gas bottles to pubs and B&Bs from the back of a van. His fascination with heat and power sparked Outback Energy, laying the foundation for a business built on trust and reliability.
1987 – Scorpion Power Systems
The launch of Scorpion Power Systems marked a turning point. Known for quality and reliability, Scorpion became a household name in standby power and UPS solutions.
1989 – Supporting the Nation
Our first major contract with the Ministry of Defence during the Gulf conflict proved our ability to deliver under pressure.
1997 – Merlin Power Management
A nationwide network of engineers offering 24/7 emergency response.
2004 – Power Call
